When looking at the landscape of Vietnamese agriculture, what worries me most is not our farming capacity or output, but the actual value that Vietnamese fruits receive when they step out into the world. For many years, the recurring cycle of “good harvest, low price” or the bottlenecks of agricultural produce at border gates has been the consequence of our heavy reliance on raw exports and unofficial trade channels.
Aware of the Government’s direction in the Strategy for Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development, especially the shift from “Agricultural production thinking” to “Agricultural economic thinking,” I understood that the only sustainable path is to move into deep processing. Indigenous agricultural products need to be supported by technology so they are no longer passive toward seasonal factors and storage times.
That is the reason I founded Viet Nam Cuong Thinh (VNCT) and the KoTheChe brand.
This process helps retain up to 98% of the vitamin content, color, and original flavor of the fruits. To realize the goal of “officializing” trade and taking Vietnamese agricultural products further, we have standardized our entire production process to achieve the world’s most stringent food safety certifications, such as ISO 22000 and the FDA’s FSVP verification system. This serves as a solid passport for Vietnamese agricultural products to confidently enter the most demanding markets.
At VNCT and KoTheChe, we believe that Vietnamese agricultural products deserve a higher position on the world map. By combining fresh, cost-effective raw materials with advanced freeze-drying technology, we are step-by-step affirming the value and quality of our national brand in the international market.
